Wow, even better picture of a great boat!
On the subject of the rigger - did you perform any stress calculations on it?
The rigger, especially at the point where the oarlock is attached, undergoes a heavy stress, particularly when a strong rower pulls hard. That's whey the riggers are always made of metal (aluminum)
I have doubts if wood laminated in fiberglass is strong enough to work in this application.
