Should I be concerned on how much air is going to forced in the large cockpit of a micro bootlegger driving down the highway?I am concerned the wind could cause damage somehow? It seams like the opening would act like a big wind scoop.
I have not used the Malone Autoloader, but I think they should work fine.
I've carried a lot of boats for a lot of miles on the roof of a car. While the big open cockpit may effect your gas mileage, you are not going to harm the kayak.
Tighten the straps so they are snug, use a bow line. Check the strap regularly.
