Outer Island is a great boat, very fast, easy to roll. It tracks stiffly but has lots of secondary stability so is easy to turn on edge, scull or balance brace. Some say it has a tendency to leecock a little in high winds, but that's in very high winds... I never had any trouble with mine.
Not a hard build, although the bend to the stern deck behind the cockpit might need a little coaxing or heat/steam. I liked the ocean cockpit. If you have big feet or need a little more bend in the knees, it's easy to fare the foredeck up a little to give a little more room... there are posts on this site if you search.
