I have a little 5 inch ROS that the Velcro wore out on. I couldn't find a replacement pad here, so I am using an alternative I saw on YouTube. It works a treat.

I keep the hot glue gun warmed up during the sanding session. When I need to replace the pad I place a new pad on the pad, lift a corner, tiny drop of hot glue, press down, rotate the disk, lift another corner, tiny drop of hot glue, etc. Five or six drops is plenty.

The pad just pulls off when it needs replacing, pulling the hot glue off with it.

It works just just as well as the Velcro.
