I have 14' Great Auk plan and this is my first strip build. I read about the breakaway tops for the cockpit forms (6, 7 & 8 on this plan). I didn't see any indication of how high up from the DWL to make the cut. Would the cut location change if I decide on the recessed cockpit recess?
