So my son in law has seen the kayaks I have built and want to build one with me. Good bonding time together. I let him paddle my Cape Ann Storm, and he liked it but it felt quite tippy. Of course part of that is that he hasn't paddled much. But come to find out, he outweighs me by almost 90 lbs (and 6 inches in height). So we are building a Cape Ann HV, with a couple of more inches in beam, and an inch more foot room. His feet are 13 plus size.
