Epoxy: worst case scenario

i did a glass lay up test. i wet out a piece of four ounce glass on a piece of 4 mm okumie. i let this cure for five days, then i put a fill coat over this without cleaning it. i put four more coats over this letting each coat cure for five days and without any cleaning or sanding, nothing. then i broke the plywood to see if i could get the layers of epoxy to peel apart or de-laminate. could not find anything wrong with the test piece.

so, with this test there was no chemical bond and it was the worst case scenario for any epoxy work because i did nothing to prep the surface. i was using west systems 207 kicker.

just wondering what some of you professional builders on this site think about this ?
