Anyway, I did apply 3 fill coats. I laminated and filled in one long day using Mas slow. I couldn't believe how fast the resin set tack free. Maybe area was too warm? I still can't figure what went wrong with the wet-out. My ego is now questioning CLC's fiberglass. Must be faulty glass, right? Couldn't be me, right?

Jay, I like your view on this. It's the bottom and even transporting on roof racks it's not visible. And, I'm the only person who will notice. You people raise the bar constantly and perhaps unknowingly teach perfection. I've followed this forum for years. Most of what I know on this topic I've learned here. With one Cape Ann and four hollow wood surfboards under my belt I want progress and perfection. For me, coloring the hull instead of varnishing yet another project, is progress. A new challenge!

I'll shut up now and am leaning towards Dan's Interlux paint. Thank you again everyone for your support. I'll still try to post pics.
