Hello,

I have a P&H with a "mini" hatch and absolutely love having a small reachable hatch that is in front of me. I have a Rapier that I would like the install one on, but the deck has these "ridges" in it (I found online the following image onine, but it shows what I'm talking about with the deck: http://www.fit2paddle.com/photokayak/misc/rapier20_3a.jpg). Aside from being more of a pain to outline the hatch and cut out is there anything else I should watch out for?

I've never done this before and think I have a good idea how to do it, but does anyone know of any good online articles that detail the process?
