Hi Rob,

Hard to tell if it's epoxy or polyester once it's hard, looks the same. Epoxy will stick to polyester, polyester won't stick to epoxy. Epoxy is an excellent glue, good secondary bonds, polyester is a fair at best glue, poor secondary bonds.

If it were me I'd fix it with epoxy, takes the guess work out.
