For Dan and Scott and anyone interested in a paddle report. This hybrid Anas Acuta is a play boat. Low volume ,17' and lots of rocker .It is a tight fit and will be great for rolling (more on that as the water warms up ).It is lively and quick as it weighs only 37lbs. Tracks well ,better than the Pintail which it resembles (see comparative photo ) .With the skeg (skeel) mounted 14" behind the cockpit ,the kayak turns ,almost pivots around the skeg when the skeg is left down.The only downside is :I don't see myself paddling for several hours in it.
