Strip: Fixing paddle rash on deck *PIC*
Looking for suggestions for repairing paddle dings on my deck. It's on a boat I used for racing, and there are several spots where paddle strikes have broken the glass/wood bond showing the telltale white glass as lines.
My question: Is the best approach to completely sand off the glass in the areas, and re-glass the spot or is there a better way. The deck is very dark so the dings really stand out. If I sand off, and re-glass, I am concerned the area (wood) may show as a lighter color when I re-varnish.
