I do agree that they may be more expensive. But than again they have what I'm looking for and have it on my doorstep in a day or two. While driving around from place to place looking for that special little part may be fun, it can add to the price in the way of time, wear and tear on the car, and gas. So that McMaster Carr part may actually be cheaper all things considered. Also there are not that many doohickies needed per boat, so the overall bill should not be that high. And yes, McMaster Carr makes ordering simple, quick, and efficient. A first class company.
