yes....

the 'complexity' of this design is really the firm bilges on section 8 through 13. which from a stripping perspective is something that is much easier if there is a strip aligned right on that line (because you basically can't strip around a tight corner).

so the chine lines on the plans mark those out and then add an equidistant length to extend them up the side of the hull so you can see how it interacts with the sheer line. from a building perspective, what they suggest and what i did was to lay the shear strip, then immediately below that the 'chine' strip on/parallel to the chine marks. as i then stripped down the hull towards the bottom, the strips lined up pretty much perfectly on that tight bilge (there was one strip i had to adjust ...instead of 3/4 wide...it needed to be half inch wide....but it was a single cut) and i was able to easily strip my way around that 'corner' on sections 8 through 13.

outside of that area, the bilges are 'rounded' so the design is not as sensitive to having the correct strip alignment in terms of how difficult it is to construct.
