It would be interesting to see how West or the equivilent marine epoxy worked compared to the epoxy selected.

Typically neither of these joints would be what I'd want for my boat, So they may be good general guidelines, but the West website would probably characterize boat building better.

But she said that. (not a reference to West - but to more scientific studies)

Still very interesting.
