It's been a couple years since my last wood strip kayak build. I built a guillemot L kayak and used interlux schooner varnish. Now with many miles and numerous deep scratches, I am looking to do some epoxy work and refinish the kayak. My question is how do I remove the old varnish? I guessing sanding it or using some type of stripper. Any ideas?
