I just hired out a couple kayaks for a TV commercial and was angsting over whether I should put on a new coat of varnish.
They didn't look too bad but they didn't glow like a new coat of varnish.
Then I remembered from my jewelry making days, how a jeweler's cloth (which has jeweler's rouge (polish) in it) could make a dull piece sparkle with a few rubs.
So, I pulled out some Meguiars polishing compound I had left over from the days when I was hot to rub out a finish and tried a couple spots on a boat.
They looked marvelous!
Regular use just imbeds some dirt and grime in the varnish and the Meguiras shined it up without a lot of work.
Open bag - insert new trick!
