I am looking for input on perpendicular, chevron or herringbone strips on a radius deck. See the picture below from page 135 of Nick's book.
Understand the longitudinals and will have temp. support at all ends of short strips. Will do a feature strip down the center.
I figure I will have to use thicker strips on the radius for the deck to allow for rounding and fairing.
My question: Has anyone done this and have pics or want to share problems and pitfalls?
Have you kept the deck rounded or angular?
I have removed the deck and lowered the sides on a s-n-g. Will be adding a strip deck and want to do something different.
