What's the problem? Is it the low deck/recess aft ? I know the cockpit area is a bit tricky on the strip build - some of the builds I've seen (in pictures) appear to have 'smoothed out' some of the curves around the cockpit.

The deck is especially tricky. The main panels for and aft of the cockpit that form the majority of the deck are both curved. The cockpit recess is also curved. The outer deck panels are also quite finely pointed and delicate. In addition the general construction is a bit different than traditional S&G. It uses external forms and requires a simple strongback. The Alleq line are built in a similar fashion (see image). It's POSSIBLE for a total beginner and would be fine for a class build. For a first home build I would recommend something easier.
