I actually saw this on my Facebook page. I think the idea of "cultural appropriation" as a negative is not only wrong, but a bar to human progress. As for canoes, they were the preferred method of transportation for both the natives and the invading Europeans. Their use is a celebration. To transform it into a negative is almost obscene.
