I thought my unisaw was nice until I used a friend's Powermatic. No comparison. If Powermatic made a saw that had saw stop technology I'd consider it, but I'd never sacrifice the function of a saw for the saw stop technology.

I've used several SawStop saws, and have been very impressed. They are solidly built and well thought out - better than my Unisaw. I'm not completely sold on the sensor idea, but I've seen enough old, experienced woodworks with missing fingers to take the idea seriously.
