Not sure it is a good idea to mark the plimsol line. If you put on weight it becomes very obvious. 😝

Well there's an obvious solution to that problem - simply add some positive buoyancy, maybe with some foam? (ducking)

Seriously though I suppose there would be some value in having a clear visual indication of when your boat is overloaded - probably hard to accurately calculate that in advance, though.

BTW, had to Google "Plimsoll line" but one of my favorite things about boating is how everything has a special, unique name. Sailing is awesome for that - "excuse me a moment, I need to adjust the boom vang." I'm sure this is a sign of some deep-seated personality disorder.
