I wear a respirator whenever I work with more than an ounce of resin. If I don't I get a headache. Clearly it has effects. I can't afford to develop an allergy.

I believe in getting into good safety habits. Wearing glasses, dust mask, respirator and hearing protection.
Buy good comfortable equipment and you'll use it.

If you think, should I, or shouldn't I, you should.

Do you consider whether or not to wear your PFD when you go paddling? Some people think they are uncomfortable and optional.

Just like I'd feel naked without my PFD on the water, I feel naked without my respirator when I'm working with resin.
