I am hopeful that my analysis concept is mathematically sound, but any "little old lady" who has built an S&G kayak probably knows a lot more than I do at this point...

I'm not sure my partner would like the "little old lady" title. She built the first of the present design I handle. She is halfway through a second one but moving house and earthquakes seem to have stalled it at the halfway point.

Design? Stand on these scales, stand beside this tape measure, cut along the "dotted" lines. Well that's the story I tell.

I would have though conical projections would handle the shape problem?
