Glad to hear some confirmation that the fore deck can be altered without any unforeseen problems.

As for adapting the paddler to fit the kayak I can see the point since I have to do that often in paddling the different kayaks I myself own and others when we "let me try yours". However I often spend long hours in the kayak and my aging body appreciates all the comfort and paddling efficiency I can give it.

Given these responses I think I will go ahead and build the 'Storm'. I like the performance characteristics and the looks. If, after getting the plans it seems I need to make modifications to get a better fit, I won't be hesitant to make the changes.
