Even if it never again will look as it did just before that first paddle, the boat deserves the effort.

Your boat will never look better than when it is on the water. A kayak off the water is a debased form that fails to express its true beauty.

Don't get me wrong, I understand the desire to get it perfect, but at some point you need to get the kayak out of the shop and on to the water.
