I suggest you do not use commercial fillers at all if possible.
I tried about 8 or 9 different fillers before I selected one.
As soon as the epoxy covered the filler it changed color and became blindingly obvious where the filler was.

If it is possible, fill up any cracks with slivers of cedar (what ever you used).
Titebond to glue them in.
Actual wood will look more natural than anything else, although some defects will be too small to work with wood.
Then I use the suggested fill with titebond and sand, although its better to have some sanding dust available before you start. That way you can cram the dust into the titebond and avoid sanding thru an outer layer of dust.
