I have built 10 - still own 7 and maybe I'll do another some time ?????

still very involved in paddling, making some guitars and my next hurdle is making a violin. I have no idea how to play one but I have several books and I'm interested in the challenge.

Ah, very cool. I started playing guitar about 13 years ago - and still suck - but while tempted to try my hand at lutherie so far I've resisted the urge. I recently picked up a ukelele, which is a lot of fun - too bad you can't paddle and strum at the same time.
