I looked at your website over the holidays. Your kayaks look very nice and I spent quite a bit of time looking through the information (BTW, there seems to be an issue on some of the news pages where I see [singlepic id=...] tags instead of images). The paint finishes on your kayaks are stunning.

I am particularly interested in the Frej S&G kayak. It has the plumb stems I was trying to achieve and the the configuration of the six hull panels is similar to what I arrived at in that there is a fairly flat bottom panel that ends at the stems without turning vertical. This seems to be the easiest way to achieve a developable bottom panel with plumb stems. I am trying to design a shorter and wider kayak, but it is somewhat similar nonetheless.

I think I will build a card stock model before using plywood. I can cut card stock with a drag knife cutter which should speed up the process and make the cuts fairly accurate.

Your daughter is a lucky girl, indeed. She must be pretty proud of her baidarka.
