Dewalt contractors saw for about 360$. I love this saw and was very happy to dump my perfectly crappy craftsman cast iron belt drive. After many weeks on cl I took $25 but would have given it away;;))
I don't miss the lower power and slipping belts.
I like that I can move the Dewalt around. Inside, out side, to a weekend job.
I can put my shop vac on the dewalt which I could not do on the old one.
Dewalt fence is fine, maybe tender but I take care with it. Set up right it is so much better for ripping strips and hardwood. Full sheets of ply etc.
Built my own narrow base wood stand and love it.
If I had a dedicated 24 x30' shop ( like I once had ) maybe I would put a unisaw in the middle...
