Strip: Fixing concave mistake

Working on my first ever kayak. Obviously, I'm making mistakes and learning from them. I don't think any are catastrophic, but I'm curious about what the best "fix" is for this striping goof up. I have a pair of strips that are coming together in a concave rather than convex shape. Images show starboard side (mistake) and port side (what it should be). What is the best "fix":
1) Ignore it, it's character
2) Try to fair down the surrounding when I get to that stage
3) Laminate some extra strips in to build up the area, and then fair down to the surrounding area when I get to that stage.
