I build a Cape Ann from Vaclav's design (One Ocean Kayaks) a number of years ago. This forum was a lot of help. I was cleaning out my garage today and came upon a couple of items that might be of interest to someone currently building. When I finished my kayak it was the dead of winter and I was so stoked at finishing it (it is in Vaclav's gallery and I included the link if you want to see it). I decided to build his carbon fiber rudder in case I needed one on the yak. As it turned out, it was not needed and ended up in a box. Mine looks just like it but it was never top coated so it isn't as shiny. I also have a new set of foot pegs with the bars which I can't use and again would be glad to give them to someone who could use them. No catch, just trying to get these parts to another builder.
