I use the Satellite City "Super T" medium viscosity and accelerator. It's still thin enough that it can run out of a joint if you're not quick with the accelerator, but thick enough that it has some gap filling capacity and doesn't absorb into the wood.
I used to buy the pump accelerator, but it tends to evaporate, so I've started using the aerosol. I would not recommend using it without the accelerator.
