FWIW, I'd bet dollars to donuts that John's comment about checking buyer's comments was directed at those who might be inclined to order - that is, if none of the products in the category are available, the store might not be actively selling anymore - so it'd be wise to do a little research before sending them credit card info. I highly doubt if he meant it as any sort of criticism of you for posting the link. Just saying.

The more possible sources that folks (like Thomas) are good enough to post, the better. Our needs as kayakers and kayak builders aren't at all 'mass market'.

I do recall online comments from a few years ago, about 'being patient' about orders from skinboats/Corey.
