I thought it was a Pacific Water Sports but I can't find anything online. I looked everywhere for an HIN but was unable to find one. For some reason I thought it was called a "thunderbird" but I have nothing to support that claim.

He replied (in part):

If it is vacuum-bagged (smooth inside) it is not a PWS kayak, PWS kayaks were all hand laid up (and I think nearly all used woven roving as the inside layer). My first tip that it was an Eddyline was the hole in the crossbar of the H extrusion that is visible in your picture of the damaged area. Eddyline used that hole in the extrusion to run their rudder cables through, making an elegant route for the cable that required little extra work on their part.
