I have been getting more interested in folding kayaks and the idea of traveling with them. So, keepers and Folbots are a bit high priced even used, but it looks likes the frames are available used for decent prices. My question is, has anyone fabricated a skin for one of these boats? Can it be done, get and old folding frame, sew a skin and have a kayak to travel with?
