I'm laying out the seat and back band (so close to done!). My initial thought was that the back band should basically just clear the coaming, and the back of the seat should be at the back band. This seems about right when I sit in the kayak in the yard. However, my experience is low. Looking at images on line, it looks like there are a few inches from the back band to the coaming. So - about where do the seat and back band go? How do I figure out placement? How sensitive is placement?
