In theory it's possible, but most of the old kayaks will be tandem Folbots and they are real barges, hugely wide for their length and quite heavy. If that's ok with you, then you might see if you can find the Yostwerks site, it's saved somewhere, and use Tom's folding kayak covering.

The other possibility is to just build one of Tom's (Yost) folding kayaks.
