Tom Yost has plans for his 'Sea Tour EXP 17.5 with a displacement of 350 pounds. I have built 4 of his designs and they are all great kayaks. I am tall so on my last two SOF I raised the cockpit height for more foot room. It is easy to make adjustments to his plans without messing up the performance.
Tom doesn't seem to be active on his site anymore but his plans are still available and have always been free of charge.
