Time to start the deck and a few questions ....1. the first few deck sheer strips ... how do you terminate the ends, at the bow and stern?
I'd like to see a few pics of how this should look.2. I think I can discard the strongback at this point. I have the hull, with the internal forms, sitting in soft saddles now.
I am tight on workspace so if I can get rid of the strongback that would be good. Is that a bad idea?3. I have heard it's best to avoid yellow glue (Titebond, etc) for the deck since it is sensitive to heat. What glue do folks like to use for the deck stripping?

I join sheer strips on the sides of the deck using yellow carpenter's glue fitting them at the stems in a herringbone pattern.
