Re: Strip: strip for petit
In Response To: Strip: strip for petit (howard)
Howard, About 18 months ago I was very much in the same situation. My flea-weight wife (5'2"/112#) enjoys her Ch16LT but finds it a little big for day trips. Decided to build a Frej scaled down to 90% (15' long/19" beam). She loves the boat and it fits her like a glove. It is much quicker and more maneuverable than her 16LT. At 5'7"/155#, I just fit in it. Here is a link to the completion post: http://www.kayakforum.com/cgi-bin/Building/index.cgi/page/1/md/read/id/237608/sbj/strip-frej-complete/.
