The MDF dust from jigsawing the rough shape, bandsawing close, and sanding to the line was more than I was willing to deal with, and I was already in fear of an oops. So...

Yeah, not the fastest way. I've spent two days creating cut files. But with an effective dust collector on the CNC, almost no MDF dust.
