The old Rockwell doesn't have an arbor lock, nor do I know of any others.
A friends SawStop did not have one.

I generally hold onto the blade by hand for other blades, sometimes it needs a stick.
With the Diablo, I have to grab the drive belt close to the arbor to get enough grip to loosen the arbor nut.

I suppose I'm not really as safety conscious as I could be, I don't unplug the saw. But I am usually alone so there is no reason why it should start.
