I had checked out the One Ocean Kayak site before but I did not dig deep enough to find the article. It is very close to what I remember seeing before. I am still leaarning this kayak building process so I am always trying new things to see what I like best plus it enhances my learning curve.
On this build, a Petrel, I am going with one plywood hatch cover lip and one fiberglass lip. Someday I will actually be learned enough to build exactly what I want :)
