Gorilla Tape, Gorilla-brand duct tape, will stick to a wet surface. Whitewater kayakers save weight by sticking a few strips of it to the inside of the kayak or wrapping a few windings around their water bottle. It will fix a cracked whitewater kayak. It also serves as first aid for serious cuts- you only have to carry some gauze/telfa.
