FULL DISCLOSURE: I am an authorized seller for both SeaLect and KajakSport.

So now you know where the idea came from, Don Currie, New Zealand, 1992, at a kayak forum in Christchurch.

Commercially made and fitted to Norski Kayaks and Challenge Kayaks of Keri Keri.

First major trip with one, circumnavigation of Vanua Levu, Fiji, a 38 day trip.
