does your saw run smoothly? Can you balance a nickel on edge, on the table while its running? Mine was like a vibra-fingers bed in a motel! I realigned the entire unit, made everything square, tight and lubed the bearings. Then replaced the belt with a link belt. Either Acculink or Powerlink, basically the same thing...whichever is more available. Pretty inexpensive in Harbor Freight for the real deal, not a clone...about $25. After all that, smooth and steady! No need for blade stabilizers and it runs very true for an old contractors saw; runout about .0005 to .0007. Of course a shopbuilt zero clearance insert, too!
