I discovered a cool thing. While running my sander hooked to a vac with the ceiling mounted exhaust fan running it gets pretty noisy. A few months back I had purchased some Bose noise canceling headphone for a plane trip. I figured, let me give them a try. Wow! So quiet. Extra bonus, I can plug them into my phone so I can hear it ring.
