If you want it gone, sand it out and patch it. It will take maybe 20 minutes.
Fresh epoxy is still a little soft. For the first weeks it can be fairly easily bruised. With time the epoxy becomes harder and less prone to damage.
Any sharp edge, keel, sheer, centerline or chine is particularly susceptible. Larger radii are less delicate, but some times sharp is what you want.
I've started making fitted cradles that match the hull/deck shape (slightly oversize) and then padding the edges with weatherstripping. The fitted cradles help maintain the shape and hold the boat securely. When I don't have fitted cradles I use foam V-blocks.
