I second the multiple thin coats rolled on. More time than if you put it on thicker, but less runs and less sanding. I also recommend the west roller covers, my first couple of fill coats, I used cheap home depot black foam covers. They soak up too much epoxy (waste) and lay it on too thick (runs, orange peal).
